The genetic variation and population structure of natural populations of Drosophila pseudoobscura have been investigated by electrophoretic and other genetic methods. A total of 420 polymorphic loci have been detected in eight natural populations. In general, the level of genetic variation appears to be lower than that of natural populations of D. melanogaster, even at the same geographic locations. The genetic variability in natural populations is concentrated in the single locus that controls the Ab/2-1 type of esterase Dps-3. The two outlying populations C3 and C5 have significantly less variability than the other six populations. The decrease in genetic variability in the two populations C3 and C5 was also found in the experimentally maintained populations. Thus, the experimental populations which were founded from each of the two natural populations C3 and C5 by a single pair of flies were significantly less variable than the other populations. The population C3 has a peculiar genetic structure with a strong deviation from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium at five loci. The population C5 has a hybrid genetic constitution with an excess of heterozygotes at eight loci.Q:
How to make it possible for a user to create a new entry based on another entry in the same table?
The goal is to make it possible for a user to create a new entry based on another entry in the same table, but only if the parent entry has an ID of 0 (default in MySQL).
Is there a way to do this? If not, does it have to do with SQL/the code?
Assuming you have a table with an ID and a parent ID.
If this is the structure
If you want to create a new ID with the ParentID set to 0, you can do
where? is the id of your new entry.
By changing the parent ID to 0, your new entry would be created as 0b46394aab
